What data we collect
We collect only the data you send us voluntarily through the contact form: your name, telephone number, email address, type of project, the text of your message and any attachment (a photo or a plan) you choose to upload.
The site creates no user profiles, requires no registration and collects no data about your browsing for advertising purposes. For technical cookies, see theCookie Policy.
Why we process it, and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiry and preparing a quotation | Pre-contractual measures at your request — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR |
| Managing the commercial relationship, if an order follows | Performance of a contract — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR |
| Meeting tax and accounting obligations | Legal obligation — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR |
Providing your data is optional, but without your contact details we cannot reply to you.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a commercial relationship are kept for as long as needed to handle the contact, and in any case no longer than 24 months. Where a contract is entered into, the data is kept for the duration of the relationship and for the 10 years afterwards required by civil and tax law.
Who it may be disclosed to
The data is handled by authorised Renice staff. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which receives form submissions; delivery of the request by email is handled by Resend. Both are appointed as data processors under Art. 28 GDPR. Renice's email provider, and in future a statistics provider if one is activated, may also be involved. We do not sell or pass your data to third parties for marketing purposes.
Cloudflare and Resend are based in the United States: submitting the form may therefore involve a transfer of data outside the European Economic Area. The transfer is covered by the Standard Contractual Clauses set out in Art. 44 ff. GDPR, included in their respective Data Processing Addenda — to be confirmed that Renice has signed them before the site goes live.
Your rights
You may exercise the rights under Art. 15–22 GDPR at any time:
- Access — find out what data we process and obtain a copy
- Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erasure — ask for your data to be removed, where applicable
- Restriction — ask for processing to be suspended
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection — object to processing, where applicable
To exercise them, write to info@renice.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority(garanteprivacy.it), or with the supervisory authority of the country where you live.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS (with HSTS, which stops the browser from ever loading it unencrypted) and data sent from the form travels encrypted. We also apply security headers (Content Security Policy and others) that reduce the risk of attacks such as cross-site scripting, and we do not keep any sensitive data or credentials in the site's code.
Note before going live: this text reflects the processing carried out by the site on the date shown. It must be checked by Renice and their own privacy adviser before publication, and updated if the data collected, the suppliers involved or the retention periods change. Renice already uses Iubenda on the current site: consider whether to keep that notice instead of this one.
